Utility Wonder PREP
1LB OF HYDRONIC SYSTEM CLEANER
Cleans hot water boilers and hydronic systems. This TriSodium Phosphate (TSP) based product is specially formulated for new system start-ups. Designed as a pre-cleaner for anti-freeze applications.
Removes greases, oil, rust, scale, flux, pipe joint compound and other residues of manufacture and assembly.
1lb of Prep treats 50 gallons of water
***For New Systems***
Fill vent and cirulate system with fresh water and one 1 pound container of Prep for each 50 gallons of water in the system. Allow the water to reach operating temperature and let circulate for a few hours. After circulating for a few hours and while still hot, drain the system thorroughly wash and rinse the water side of the boiler. Refill with fresh water and or a solution of anit-freeze.
***For Currently Operating Systems***
Add 1 pound of Prep and circulate water through entire system and bring water up to operating temperature letting it run for a few hours. After circulating for a few hours and while still hot, drain the system thorroughly wash and rinse the water side of the boiler. Refill with fresh water and or a solution of anit-freeze.
