Flood Sensor
The relief valve flood sensor is intended for use with temperature and pressure as well as pressure only relief valves mounted to boilers or hot water heaters. The sensor can be installed directly into the relief valve outlet or in the discharge line consisting of copper tubing from the relief valve to the sensor. At any installation point, the sensor must be installed at a 45-degree angle. The sensor detects flowing discharge from the relief valve and energizes a relay signaling flood detection.
