Due to the large internal passageways to accommodate high flow rates, the design dramatically reduces the problems of narrower spray angles, voids in spray patterns and flame flutter commonly encountered when using standard nozzles at elevated operation pressures and with higher viscosity fuels. The LC nozzle produces a semi-solid spray pattern.
