Features of the Air Booster Fans
Air Boosters Fans are mounted in ductwork and increase air flow by up to 1400 cfm, improving heating/cooling system efficiency, and saving energy. There are nine air booster models designed for round or square ducts up to 14” in diameter.
An Air Booster Fan is typically wired parallel with the furnace or air conditioner blower. When the blower activates, the Air Booster will activate. The Air Booster can also be wired to an on/off switch to provide additional air flow only when needed. For remote locations, where wiring into the furnace is not practical, the Air Booster Activator (ABA-1) is available. The ABA-1 senses an air pressure change in the duct when the blower activates and starts the Air Booster.
Do air boosters really work? Air booster fans are add-ons that help move indoor air through ducts. While inline duct and register booster fans will not solve underlying defects in the HVAC system, they can “boost” air flow and increase the amount of cold and warm air that ultimately makes it to a room.
What is an air duct booster? An air duct booster fan, also known as an air booster fan, is a device that is attached to the HVAC system’s ductwork. It can increase airflow to rooms in the home that are far away from heating and cooling systems.
How does a duct booster fan work? The air duct booster fan boosts the air flow of the room. It spreads the air in the whole room to maintain the same temperature in the room. It is an effective and simple way to control the air of a room. The duct booster fan does need a the small amount of energy to do its work, but they are efficient.
